WA PBL State Scholarship

During the Washington Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference, we are awarding one scholarship to a Washington member who contributes exceptional efforts to PBL, aligning the goals and creed of PBL while impacting themselves, their chapter, and their community. The award recipient will also have the opportunity to represent Washington PBL during the Parade of States at the National Leadership Conference.

Application Receipt Deadline: SLC registration
Individual Award: $250
Eligibility:

  • Must be dues-paid members of PBL.
  • Never served nor currently serving as a PBL state and/or national officer.

Application Procedure:

  • Each application must be accompanied by a one-page letter of recommendation summarizing PBL, business, leadership, and community activities.
  • Applications must meet all of the criteria to be considered.
  • All members applying for this scholarship must be registered to attend the State Leadership Conference.

Distinguished Business Leader

This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding PBL members for their activity and involvement in the national association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the PBL scholarship fund.

Application Receipt Deadline: April 1
Individual Award: Determined by amount collected.
Eligibility:

  • Open to PBL members who plan to continue to pursue a post-secondary or postgraduate education.
  • Must be dues-paid members of PBL.
  • Must have achieved the Director, Executive, or President level of the CMAP program.

Application Procedure:

  • Each application must be accompanied by a one-page cover letter summarizing PBL, business, leadership, and community activities; a resume outlining PBL activities, educational achievements, etc. and two letters of recommendation—one from a chapter adviser and the other from a business/community leader.
  • Applications must meet all of the criteria to be considered.

NLC/IFL Scholarships

This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding PBL members for their activity and involvement in the national association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the PBL scholarship fund.
